Drop a-line

I'm making this jacket out of this stuff

and I am not sure it is going to work. I think it is too soft and will get too fuzzy too quick. Just having the skeins in my bag made them all fuzzy. Having realized this, have I stopped? No, I will finish the damn thing! It will be fine right? Right?
I also have a few public vows to make:
I will finish my secret project by the day after Thanksgiving
I will finish my "Fall" sweater by the end of this month
I will finish the Drops jacket by the end of this month
I will start my Mom's sweater
There, now I have to do it.
