Bittersweet

I guess it wasn't clear last week but the bad news I received abut my friend was that she had died in her sleep. I had recently been in a lot of conversation with her because she was helping with some art things I was working on. Monday morning I got some good news. The thing she helped me prepare for came through and I can't share that with her. I can't thank her for all her encouragement and faith in me. I can't tell her about all the ways in which she changed my life.
I know it doesn't make too much sense to write something like this in a blog but at the same time it would be strange to look back on this time and see that I was blogging about something else.
